by bwardell on March 3, 2011

Parental neglect, abuse, divorce, having been bullied at school or family conflict and tragedy may cause repeating images in our subconscious even as we try to move forward into adulthood. For some individuals, troubled childhoods leave scars that will not fade. The marks impede our ability to progress and mature, but there are healthy ways to conquer the turmoil from within and reign victorious over a haunted past.
