It could have been used to finance new, more current, research. They are using numbers from Internet studies done over 5 years ago, from before social networking existed!

Butterflies stand for Empowerment
The yellow butterfly is the logo for the Children’s Justice Center to represent the delicate and beautiful nature of childhood, as well as the empowerment that comes with exercising your wings to fly. Butterfly lawn signs will be on display at the Avenues and South Valley Children’s Justice Center locations from April 1st to the 30th to represent over 1,400 child victims helped by the Salt Lake County Children’s Justice Center last year.

Honorary guests include Utah AG Mark Shurtleff and Carlos Boozer form the Utah Jazz, but at the last moment Carlos was unable to attend because of a family emergency… the day went off without a hitch, and the CHW Partners were able to rub shoulders with some important state and local officials that were all concerned with children, justice and child abuse… April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month Nationwide
