Internet, At Risk Behavior

Most would agree the Internet is a plethora of every sort of human behavior. The behaviors range from admirable to those that would disgust the more open-minded individuals.

The Internet is young, and filled with possibilities, however; its influence and exponential growth exceeds the stature of governments and ownership to properly police.

Unfortunately, few guidelines exist, not to mention the need for International laws and Jurisdictional laws to sustain a safe and healthy Internet environment.

The issues we faced generations ago morality, civility, ethics, integrity, and all the Golden Rules we were taught to practice as children are still, and to a greater degree, applicable to today's children and their use of technology and the Internet. However, it seems parents for reason or another sat back on their laurels, which ill prepared our children for the explosion of the Internet, and all its social implications. The combination of the Internet and kids lacking self-discipline and the latter Golden Rules is a risky combination.

The issues that challenged the youth of yesterday still challenge the kids today, with the exception that the Internet has increased those challenges exponentially. Not only have the challenges increased exponentially, but also accessibility, whether consciously or unintentionally, are available with a key stroke. Moreover, all this and more is within the reach of the child's pocket.

So, what are some of the Internet risky behaviors?
